Artsea travels around Maine and New England to deliver creatively driven art therapy groups to a variety of locations.
How do art therapy groups with artsea work?
Artsea’s objective is to provide a creative and comfortable setting where group members can express themselves while achieving their goals. Some potential goals may be: decreasing isolation and increasing socialization and/or social skills, increasing a sense of community, learning mindfulness techniques, reduction of anxiety or depression, increasing coping skills, or just trying a new creative project!
When you book a group with Artsea, you will be working with a registered art therapist and sometimes an additional art therapist depending on the size of the group.
Typically groups are 60-90 minutes, but can be customized to specific needs of the organization.
In addition to the group service, all art materials and transportation to your location are included. All you will need is a space for the art therapist(s) and participants who are curious about art-making!
