1. You typically come in person to run groups at my location. What is the difference between in-person and this online SUBSCRIPTION?

In-person you'll get my knowledge and onsite skills, insights, and therapeutic conversation. You'll also get more involved art projects that could be too costly for one organization to purchase but since I am buying supplies in bulk it's more affordable. This content is meant to be a supplement when I am not there. They are well thought out projects designed by an art therapist but made accessible for group leaders to deliver successfully. 

2. Tell me more about your subscription compared to using other websites like Pinterest. 

With Pinterest and crafting websites, it can be time-consuming to research project ideas, adapt them for your population, find the correct supplies, figure out each step, and create an example to show your residents. When you subscribe to Artsea’s online groups all of that is organized and thought out for you. This is an easy, affordable way to support your group leaders in their everyday art enrichment planning to create and successfully deliver an enhanced experience for their residents.

3. How much do the supplies cost?

Many of the supplies for each group are staple items you probably already have like scissors, glue, watercolor paper, etc. Plus, these courses are designed to reuse supplies from group to group to make it more affordable. Project supplies will differ in pricing, but I keep this in mind when I am planning.

4. Do I need to help run the group or can I just play the video for the residents? 

This is the question I get asked the most! The group leader should watch the video and look over the included document with steps, supplies, and adaptations for the residents. The group leader can either show the video while they lead the group or just refer to the document for assistance.

5. Can I use each group more than once or does it expire?

You can use this group anytime while you have your subscription which makes it ideal for organizations that have multiple levels of care.

*Please note, you cannot purchase one subscription for multiple locations (i.e. if your organization had a location in Maine and also one in Florida).

6. How do I know if this is the right fit for my organization?

While the subscriptions are tailored to be affordable, I understand your desire to see a demo so I’ll be offering:

1. Introductory pricing for organizations where I currently run groups 

2. A free trial (30-60 days) so you can see if it is a good fit for your location

3. Supplies delivered to your site during COVID isolation for an additional fee to cover mileage (please reach out to arrange this if you’re interested).

7. My organization works with a population other than older adults, should I still consider this subscription?

Absolutely! These groups are designed specifically for older adults, but I have over 13 years of experience working with people ages 2-102. Most of these groups could be used with almost any age. The group leader would just need to keep in mind any adaptations they would need to do to keep their group members safe and successful.
